With a bushingless barrel. Another interesting 1911 from Ruger!
Thanks for the link.

You know, I hear stuff like this all the time, and maybe I am lucky, but my first handgun was a Ruger when I was 18 years old. I am now 50, and I have never had any problems with any Ruger I ever owned! Now, I aint saying some where not better than others, or that some had some so-so accuracy, but I have never had one that didn't work! I have bought at least 3 off the top of my head in the last year, and they have all been just fine (American .45, Blackhawk stainless .45 Colt, and GP 100 .44 Special). I know, they recalled the MK4. But, in my mind, that is to their credit that they would do that. Like I said, maybe I have just been lucky, but by far I have owned more Rugers than any other brand and never had a stinker from Ruger.

I can honestly say I've never bought a bad Ruger in the 51 years I've been buying them both new and used...but, then, I'll also say that nowadays I'll buy the older, proven designs. The number of recalls on new model weapons that Ruger's issued tell me they're rushing things to market. I'm happy for you guys who buy 'em brand new-but I'm happier when I don't have to use their customer service. I guess I'm just gettin' a little more patient in my old age...

I have had and still have several and have never had a problem and when folks were complaining about GP100s mine, an early model possibly, has been great, even my gunsmith friend commented on it's fit finish and smooth action but with that being said, with their more recent delays and quality issues I'll let you guys work out the bugs, if any! :D :D :D

Can't say I'm really interested. I don't need a 10mm. Used one for a while and didn't see where it fit my needs, so I sold it. It was a S&W Model 610 with a 6 1/2 inch barrel that was gawdawful muzzle heavy. To the plus, I doubled my money on it.

Myself, I want a 10mm, especially in a 1911 format. I have two friends with Colt Delta Elites, one original Blue and one second gen stainless, both are great shooters. They are just a bit above my price range.

This Ruger just may be the one that I have been waiting for!

Nice gun, but I'd lose the target sights pretty quick. I hate them.
