Inline Fabrication

Postby gunman42782 » Tue Jan 02, 2018 11:33 am

Just ordered this thing:
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/21195 ... base-plate
My reloading bench is very small, as I have limited space, and sitting down to reload starts to kill my back real quick. So, I bought this thing in the hopes that I might be able to stand up, or sit down, whichever one floats my boat. Not sure it is tall enough for me to stand up, but guess I will find out. The cool thing about it is you can change it out, if you watch the video at Midway. I bought another base plate for my Dillon primer pocket swager. That thing is the best thing ever on military crimped 5.56! But, it gets a bit tiresome using it by hand, I figured I could mount it on a base plate and use it, should be a tad easier. I may buy another plate for my vise too. May all be a waste of money, who knows? I also bought a LED light kit for my Lee Turret press. It is so hard to see the freaking powder in the cases, so this should do the trick!

Here's a pic with my Lee Turret Press on it. It's quality stuff. Gonna buy a couple more plates so I can mount my Dillon primer pocket swager and my vise.

That does look good! Pictures are straight up for me.
